Terms of Sale

Last updated: 7 November 2026. These terms apply to buying Scenino Pro in the Scenino app. How you may use the app is set out in the Terms of Use.

1. Provider

These terms apply to consumers and to businesses. A consumer is anyone who enters into the purchase for purposes that are mainly outside their trade, business or profession.

2. What you buy

Scenino is free to use. Scenino Pro is a subscription that unlocks more: an unlimited collection and wish list, all matches in the dupe finder and in For you, layering perfumes, and custom occasions. What is included without Pro is shown in the Pro window in the app.

I keep developing the app and may change or add features where that is reasonable for you. Features that belonged to Pro at the start of the current term stay available until that term ends, unless a legal or technical reason prevents it.

3. Contract and payment handling

In the app you choose a period (one month or one year) and confirm the purchase in the purchase dialog of Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). With that confirmation, the contract for Scenino Pro is concluded with me.

Payment, receipt, subscription management and refunds are handled by Apple or Google. I receive neither your payment details nor your name. The terms of the store you buy from apply in addition.

4. Price and payment

Scenino Pro currently costs 2.00 € per month or 12.00 € per year. In other countries and currencies the price may differ. The price shown to you in the store before you buy is the one that counts. It includes statutory VAT where it applies. The amount is due when you confirm the purchase, and then at the start of each further period.

If the price changes, the store informs you. A higher price applies to you only if you agree to it in the store. If you do not, the subscription ends at the end of the current period.

5. Term, automatic renewal and cancellation

• Monthly: the term is one month. It renews automatically for another month each time, unless you cancel.
• Yearly: the term is one year. It renews automatically for another year each time, unless you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period. You keep Scenino Pro until then. Periods already paid are not refunded pro rata, unless the law says otherwise.
• iPhone: Settings, tap your name at the top, Subscriptions, Scenino, Cancel Subscription. At least 24 hours before the period ends, otherwise Apple renews it.
• Android: Google Play, profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Scenino, Cancel subscription. Before the period ends.
• Deleting the app does not end the subscription. It has to be cancelled in the store.

The right of both sides to terminate for good cause stays unaffected.

6. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Withdrawal information

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me (Nils Bernhard, Leipziger Platz 21, 90491 Nürnberg, Germany, email: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement, for example by email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. To meet the withdrawal period, it is enough that you send your notice before the period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments you made without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day I receive your notice of withdrawal. I use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction. Because payment runs through Apple or Google, the refund may be made through the store.

If you asked for Scenino Pro to start during the withdrawal period, you pay me a reasonable amount that corresponds to the part of the service already provided up to the time of withdrawal.

Early loss of the right of withdrawal. For a contract for digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal ends once I have begun performance, after you expressly agreed that I begin before the withdrawal period expires and confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Scenino Pro is unlocked immediately after the purchase.

7. Defects

The statutory rules for digital products apply. If Scenino Pro does not work as it should, write to me at [email protected]. I will put it right or refund the price, as the law provides.

8. Liability

I am liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where I have given a guarantee. For slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual duty, meaning a duty you may rely on and without which the contract cannot sensibly be performed, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. The app's suggestions are ideas. Whether a fragrance suits you is up to you.

9. Privacy

How I handle data is set out in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

I may change these terms for future contracts. For a running contract, changes apply only if you agree to them or they are reasonable for you, mainly because they only widen your rights or the law requires them. I will tell you in good time.

11. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only as far as it does not take away the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live. I am neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the others stay valid.
