Scenino

What perfume should I wear today?

Three things decide most of it: how warm it feels outside, what season it is and where you are going. Here is how to think about each, and how Scenino weighs them for you every morning.

Weather

Warmth makes a scent louder, cold makes it quieter. A heavy amber or oud can fill a room on a hot day, and the same bottle is exactly right at two degrees. Citrus, green and aquatic scents hold up in the heat. Woody, spicy, vanilla and amber scents carry well in the cold.

Scenino compares the warmth of a scent with the feels-like temperature rather than the number on the thermometer, because wind and humidity change how a day feels.

Season

Seasons overlap with the weather, but not completely. A mild afternoon in March and a mild afternoon in October can ask for different scents. Every fragrance in the database carries the seasons it suits, so Scenino can tell the two apart.

Occasion

Scenino knows six occasions: daily, office, evening, outside, event and sport. Swipe to another one and the suggestion follows.

Wearing the whole shelf

A collection only makes sense if all of it gets worn. If you like, Scenino also counts how long a bottle has been waiting and says so, for example "not worn for 9 days". Prefer to decide by weather, season and occasion alone? Switch rotation off in the settings.

Reasons in plain words

The suggestion always comes with its reasons, such as "suits a feels-like 8°" or "quiet enough for the office". You see why, and you can still pick another bottle from the same list. Want to know what is missing from your shelf for days like this? Discover shows the gaps.
